CARRIGRES is part of the TEXAF group, an investment company listed on NYSE-Euronext in Brussels, aiming to be one of the main economic operators in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Carrigrès began operating the Kinsuka quarry in 1950.
Since this year, 30 million tons of sandstone have left this site to build 90% of the city of Kinshasa.
In fact, the different materials produced by Carrigrès can be found in road infrastructures and in most buildings in the capital.
Carrigrès is now an S.A.R.L. based in Kinsuka, a few kilometers from the city center which employs around forty workers.
